Our story
Salem's oldest brass workshop, still lit by hand.
NKV Handicrafts was founded in 1975 on Chinnakadai Street, Salem — a lane that has smelled of molten brass for over a century. Our founder learned the craft from his father. Today, his sons and grandsons still hammer, polish and engrave every lamp that leaves the shop.
We don't mass-produce. We don't outsource. Every kuthu vilakku, every pooja thali, every return gift is finished by hand — because that's the only way brass sings.
